| A Diary For My Friends.1/11/03 |
| Notes from Friends wishing us both good luck. Dear Brother Trevor and Sister Liz, I will miss you both on the net, but it will be only temporary. I do not mourn, but rejoice for you in your endeavours to find your dream and chase your vision. Living on the water is a bonus for anyone, just as some find living in a forest setting. Anytime one can become more of "one with nature", it is a renewal of the soul. I can only imagine living on the water and the serenity of it all. My thoughts go with you as you make this step. I hope it will be an easy one for you and that you can settle quickly and comfortably in your new surroundings. Peace and Love I send to you both, Huggies, Jadalene. Oh you are making me sad and happy all at once! I hope you won't be away for long sweetie - will miss you so very much! You just take care - keep in touch as often as you can and know we are here waiting for your return to us :) completely! xoxooxoxoxo MaryAlice. Thank you both for this beautiful gift. | I am going to venture that the man who sat on the ground in his Teepee meditating on life and its meaning, accepting the kinship of all creatures, and acknowledging unity with the universe of things was infusing into this being the true essence of civilisation. And when native man left off this form of development, his humanization was retarded in growth. Luther Standing Bear (1868-1939) Oglala Sioux Chief `` |

| 10.11.03 Both Liz and myself went to see a boat today. We had seen her externally but not from the inside. The seller is a carpet dealer and he has the unique name for his business of Walter Wall! What do you think of that! And wait for it! The boat is called by the same name! Well the outside is in need of a re paint but the inside is wonderful. No 5 star fittings, just the basic solid fuel heater/cooker and 12 volt electrics. Exactly how we have planned to live. We fell in love with her as soon as her engine fired into life and a plume of smoke took to the air. The waterside was quiet and almost misty and the silence!!!!! Apart from the engine. Both of us were on cloud nine. We are invited to see her again next Sunday and take her out for a day’s cruising, then it will be decision time! (maybe we have already decided) We will take pictures and pass them on to you a.s.a.p. If we fall into the water we will keep those to ourselves! Brother Pathwolf, yes I can swim!!!!!!!! |
